The Hotel Marketing & Media Manager will oversee the implementation of marketing initiatives for Running Aces Casino Hotel and Racetrack. This includes being responsible for strategic planning, direct/coordinate the creation of property advertising and promotional materials, executing property-specific marketing efforts for the Midwest region including cultivating relationships with local businesses and supporting creative, business needs and promotional press efforts, and generating brand awareness via social media platforms. This position will report to the Director of Marketing. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, outgoing, a creative thinker, can travel and enjoy working in a fast-pace environment.

The Hotel Marketing & Media Manager has direct oversight of the sales strategy and sales operation of the hotel. They have a primary responsibility to maximize profit by effectively leading direct sales efforts to achieve revenue goals, oversight of revenue management tactics and execution of marketing plan.  Will oversee the creative elements for advertising and marketing.


  • Drive traffic to the property with an emphasis on the hospitality / hotel segment. The ability to develop and execute marketing for the property that includes the advertising, email campaigns, local events, programming, group events, tourist, rooms sales, corporate sales and sponsorships.
  • Develop relationships with local businesses to create meaningful partnerships.
  • Work directly with PR agency to drive awareness of the hotel in local and regional outlets.
  • Manage the creation and upkeep of Hotel marketing events.
  • Media Buying.
  • Shape property marketing and promotions by being involved in design and creation process for promotional materials such as e-blasts, advertising and collateral.
  • Manage Hotel marketing budgets.


  • Must have direct hotel marketing related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Marketing, Public Relations Media Buying or related field.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and consistently demonstrate a high level of organizational skill.
  • Ability to work weekends.
  • Ability to work varied shifts.
  • Ability to travel as needed.


  • Minimum of 5 years direct marketing experience in gaming, hospitality, hotel or entertainment industry.


  • College Degree required in related field.
