The Entry Level Table Games Dealer will be responsible for educating and dealing Blackjack and Dealer Assist games. The requirements of this position include dealing a standardized, smooth and mechanically efficient game, controlling game actions, and supporting players utilizing the computer screen on Dealer Assist games. He/She will ensure games are dealt in agreement with casino policy and procedures.

The applicant must complete an application and may be contacted for a phone screen. Upon acceptance to the training class after the phone screen, the applicant must complete unpaid training class that start Monday, Jan. 7 through Thursday, Jan. 17, taking place on Mondays through Thursdays. This will be a total of eight classes from 8 am - 4 pm on the designated days and taking place at Running Aces. Applicants must pass a background check on the first day of training. Upon successful completion of training, the applicant will be offered a part-time position at Running Aces.


  • Must be able to deal Blackjack and Dealer Assist games according to established policy and procedure.
  • Educate guests on how to use the Dealer Assist terminals and play the game.
  • Interact with players and deliver a consistently high level of customer service and create a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Dispense cards out of a dealing shoe and deal the appropriate number of cards to the house and or to each player.
  • Operate the Dealer Assist computer screen to collect or pay bets after each deal.
  • Control game action and players using the display located on the table.
  • Inspect cards and equipment to ensure they are in working condition.
  • Answer questions about game rules and give directions to other game locations in the casino.
  • Manages a chip tray or personal bank to help give change and administer winnings to guests.
  • Performs additional duties assigned by casino management.

  • Must possess a high level of multi-tasking skills.
  • Must have the ability to give proper change.
  • Must know and adhere to all game protection policies.
  • Must be able to stand or sit continuously.
  • Dependability and flexible scheduling is a must.
  • Must be able to stretch arms back and forth across gaming table.
  • Must be able to work in a noisy/crowded environment.
  • Strong guest service and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Must have knowledge of all casino promotions and company policy and procedures.


Work conditions include working alone and with others, not always during 'normal' business hours.
Work environment includes casino floor, which can be noisy with numerous guests.
Work can include many interruptions.
