Job Summary:

The Card Room scheduler is responsible for keeping the Casino floor staffed according to the needs of the company under the direction of the Shift Managers. Individual will use business levels to create schedule, approve time off, and monitor Employee requests for shift changes and preferred days off, and other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:

  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Card Room structure is a plus
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both written and orally, to all levels within the organization
  • Must have proficient computer skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must have a good understanding of work scheduling practices and computer scheduling
  • Must be organized and able to prioritize duties
  • Must be able to make impartial decisions
  • Must be able to keep sensitive information confidential

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience with casino scheduling or equivalent (200+ people) required
  • Knoweldge of ADP is a plus, but not required

 

Physical, intellectual and environmental conditions:

  • Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor
  • Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time
